Suggested Steps
For each exhibit students will be responsible for different things: one group will create a video reenacting interviews from WWI relating to their theme, the other group will be responsible for creating objects out of ceramics and creating a description that both explains the context of the event/invention and why they decided to make it that way. The video group should be one third of the class, the objects making group should be 2 thirds of the class. Students will have the first week (5 lessons) to learn about the project, create the objects, run the footage they need for the videos and have everything they need to be finalized for the final week. It is important that the ceramics is done during that week because then the ceramics can dry over the weekend and it will be ready to be painted the following Monday. The following week students will get to paint their objects, finalize their videos, and set up the videos in the space provided in order to be ready to open the museum.
